SURGE
What is SURGE?
SURGE is an opportunity for children in 4th & 5th Grade to learn about how they can make
a difference in the world by serving and growing deeper in their relationship with
Jesus Christ. During Spring Break 2012, kids will have an opportunity to go on a
Mission trip to Mission Waco and experience first-hand how to be the hands and feet
of Jesus Christ. Pre-teens in Surge will have 2 to 3 other mission oriented
opportunities during the 2011-2012 school year. Kids will also be involved in bi-weekly
serving opportunities here locally at the Town East Campus.
When is SURGE?
Sunday’s at 11:00 am at Lake Pointe Town East Campus beginning September 7, 2011.
What is the cost?
$10.00 annually. Visitors on Sundays are not required to pay until they register. Registration and parent authorization required.
Requirements for SURGE
1.) Must have completed a Young Christians class
2.) Parent Authorization
3.) Upon registration, a $10.00 annual fee.
Parents will be required to attend an orientation at 11:00 on September 7, 2011 for all students involved in the program.
(Young Christians curriculum will be part of the first 4 lessons in September of 2011)
