Preschoolers' Place
Lake Pointe Church’s weekday ministry for children ages two through five. We provide a safe and nurturing environment that promotes the physical, social, emotional, cognitive and spiritual development of young children, allowing them to grow and develop as Jesus did.

Curriculum
We have a Bible-based curriculum which provides a teaching topic for each week. Activities are organized around the weekly topics, using learning centers that include art, dramatic play, music, science/nature, puppets, finger plays, rhymes and group time. The daily schedule also includes both physical and quiet activities and playground time. A variety of curriculum, including phonics, is utilized for academic focus in preschool classes and pre-kindergarten classes.
Special Features
DISCOVERY ROOM
(for Preschool & Pre-K classes) The Discovery Room is a special area designed for hands-on learning in computer, science, math, social studies and listening centers.
MUSIC CLASS
Children attend an interactive music class each day where they learn songs, finger plays and creative body movement.
CHAPEL
Chapel is a very special time for the 3-year old to 5-year old children to sing, pray and listen to God’s Word.
TEACHER TRAINING
Ongoing training is an integral part of our success. In addition to CPR certification, every teacher receives instruction in child development, safety, discipline and creative teaching skills.
SPECIAL EVENTS
Numerous special events days throughout the year such as Western Day, Transportation Day and Dental Health Day enhance the teaching topics .
